ABOUT THIS SECTION

Our approach

Public institutions have an important role in translating community priorities into coordinated, accountable development action. GetCare engages relevant national, regional and local authorities around programme planning, technical collaboration, evidence and institutional learning.

Areas of collaboration

  • Programme coordination: Aligning field initiatives with relevant public priorities, local institutions and service arrangements.
  • Research and evidence: Collaborating on relevant data, scientific inquiry and learning that informs policy and programme improvement.
  • Agrifood systems: Supporting producer services, markets, climate resilience and inclusive rural economic opportunity.
  • Environmental health: Advancing appropriate landscape stewardship, safeguards and responsible restoration.
  • Community development: Strengthening participation, inclusion and local institutional capacity.

Responsible engagement

We seek clear institutional roles, compliance with applicable processes and constructive coordination with the communities and authorities concerned. Each engagement is shaped by relevant permissions and mutually agreed responsibilities.
