Farmer and farm intelligence
Registration, assessment, plot information and seasonal crop planning

EVIDENCE-LED COMMUNITY-CENTRED
FAHAP is GetCare Foundation’s flagship agrifood systems programme, connecting smallholder farmers with production planning, sound agronomy, practical services, structured markets and the digital systems needed to deliver accountable growth.
GETCARE FOUNDATIONFAHAP aligns farmer registration, farm assessment, crop planning, practical services, Good Agronomic Practices and stronger routes to markets — with FAHAP One supporting digital records and transparency.
Each component reinforces the others, with implementation adapted to programme needs and evidence.
Registration, assessment, plot information and seasonal crop planning
Crop-specific establishment, soil health, pest management and safe inputs
Mechanisation, irrigation planning, labour management and field supervision
Harvest planning, quality assurance, aggregation and buyer relationships
Multi-crop plans, service records, evidence, costing and settlement workflows
FAHAP — Farming Against Hunger and Poverty — is GetCare Foundation’s flagship platform for building more productive, commercially connected and climate-resilient farming systems. It brings farmers, technical specialists, service providers, buyers and institutional partners into a coordinated system designed to improve the performance of agriculture and the livelihoods that depend on it.
Our focus extends beyond individual farm activities. FAHAP connects the full production cycle — from farmer enrolment and farm assessment to seasonal planning, agronomic support, service delivery, aggregation, market participation and learning. By treating these activities as an integrated system, we aim to make agricultural support more consistent, transparent and commercially viable.
FAHAP serves different agroecological zones and markets. Its crop portfolio includes maize, soybean, sorghum, millet, wheat and rice; legumes such as cowpea and groundnut; vegetables including pepper, okra, tomatoes and carrot; and tree-crop value chains such as cashew, cocoa, shea, mango and oil palm. The crops and services offered in each location depend on suitability, seasonal conditions, farmer priorities and market opportunities.
Participating farmers can be assessed at household, enterprise and plot level, with attention to land characteristics, water access, production capacity and commercial objectives. Each approved production cycle can be organised around a defined crop plan, responsibilities, cost schedule and support package.
Depending on the location and seasonal plan, FAHAP delivery may draw on:
FAHAP One is the programme’s developing digital management platform. Its purpose is to bring field operations, crop plans, farmer records, service delivery and financial accountability together within a coherent information system.
The system is designed to support farmer profiles, multiple crop plans within a season, farm assessments, crop-specific cost schedules, activity and input records, technical supervision, evidence from the field, harvest and marketing records, and seasonal settlement.
FAHAP’s long-term ambition is to support 150,000 farmers by 2030. This is a forward-looking programme target, not a claim of farmers already served. Progress is tracked through documented participation, services delivered, market activity as well as changes in productivity, income and livelihoods.
We invite collaboration with farmer organisations, technical and research institutions, input and service providers, market actors, financiers and public agencies committed to stronger global food systems.
