Established in 2018, GetCare Foundation is a nonprofit company limited by guarantee. We work with communities and institutions to strengthen agrifood systems, improve environmental health and create opportunities for resilient local economies.
Our institutional purpose
We translate community priorities and sound evidence into practical programmes, partnerships and investment opportunities. Our work connects agricultural production with market participation, landscape stewardship with viable livelihoods, and research with decisions that improve the design and delivery of development initiatives.
An integrated approach
Our three strategic pillars—Promoting Agrifood Systems, Improving Environmental Health and Building Community Resilience—shape the way we design and deliver interventions. The Rural Economic Transition System (RETS) ↗ brings these priorities together through stronger local institutions, productive systems, market access, enterprise development and regenerative practices.
